The Fishtail Market started because we could not find real Nepali ingredients in Kamloops. Not the stuff in the international aisle at a chain store. The right noodles. Mustard oil that tastes like home. Pickles made the way they are made in Nepal.

We opened our store at 1262 Gibraltar Wynd to stock what a Nepali kitchen actually needs. Word spread faster than we expected. Soon people from Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto started asking if we ship. So we built this site.

Everything we carry is sourced directly from producers in Nepal. We pick the brands we grew up with and test new ones by taking them home to our own kitchen. If we would not cook with it, we do not sell it.

We ship across all 13 provinces and territories. Local customers in Kamloops can pick up for free or get delivery within the city.

This is a family operation. Achyut runs the online side. His mother picks the pickles. Everyone packs orders. That is how we keep prices fair and quality consistent.
